The Pa is a new complex based at The University of Waikato in Hamilton. Vekart completed the main reception, inbuilt seating throughout the complex, the feature screens that divide rooms and spaces and common area kitchen spaces.
The key features of the main reception include a Corian front and leaner with a timber veneer curved desktop.
Timber fins were featured throughout the building. We chose a solid timber in the shade ‘American White Ash’ to pair beautifully with the surrounding interiors.
Moving into the staff club curved stone top and veneer battens were chosen along the front face to continue along the flow of the theme throughout this space to create a modern, relaxing space for staff to enjoy.
